Located on the Cape York Peninsula is Australia's most northerly town, Bamaga. It is a small town offering a great starting base to begin touring the Cape. Visitors are able to go on fishing and pig hunting tours, walk through spectacular rainforests and travel to pristine beaches. Plus, they can watch an abundance of bird life, journey to the most northern tip of Australia to watch the sunset, visit historical sights and go 4WD driving. There is just so much to do! Travellers can also access some of the 274 Torres Strait Islands off the Cape York Peninsula. Tours to Thursday Island and Horn Island can be arranged from Bamaga.
