Community

  • No flight changes (i.e. name, date, time, origin, destination) are permitted.
  • Fare is non-transferable and non-refundable.
  • Sold subject to availability at least 30 days prior to, or within 24 hours of departure.
  • Casual Lounge Access is not available for purchase.
  • Get Me Home: option to transfer to an earlier flight on the same date of scheduled departure permitted with $55 fee (subject to seat availability).
  • Fare is forfeited if you fail to complete check-in before the flight has closed (30 minutes before scheduled departure at all airports excluding Burketown, which is 60 minutes) or fare is not used within one year of purchase.

Promo

  • In the event that your fare category is not available for your changed flight, you will also be required to pay additional to have access to the next available fare.

Saver

Resident (Regional WA only)

  • Change of date and time only are permitted until 60 minutes before scheduled time of departure at no charge.
  • Name change and change of origin/destination not permitted.
  • Cancellation is permitted until 60 minutes prior to commencement of journey. You can keep the value of your fare as credit to Travel Bank at no charge or refund to the original form of payment with a fee. Note that if ticket has been upgraded from a non-refundable fare to Resident, the non-refundable component of the fare remains non-refundable.
  • No changes permitted within 60 minutes before scheduled time of departure.
  • Get Me Home: The option to transfer to an earlier flight when at the airport on the day of departure at no charge (subject to seat availability).
  • Fare is forfeited if you fail to complete check-in before the flight has closed (30 minutes at regional airports) or fare is not used within one year of purchase.
  • Eligibility criteria applies for Resident Fares under the WA Regional Airfares Zone Cap scheme. Booking a Resident Fare deems acceptance of the following conditions:
    • All passengers are permanent residents of Regional WA (not Perth or Peel),
    • Travel is for leisure only (not business travel or FIFO),
    • Passengers must complete a return journey into Perth from a regional town.
  • Terms and conditions of the Regional Airfare Zone Cap scheme are available on the Department of Transport website, here: www.wa.gov.au/faregowa.

Flex

  • Change of date and time are permitted until 60 minutes before scheduled time of departure at no charge.
  • In the event that your fare category is not available for your changed flight, you will be required to pay additional to have access to the next best fare.
  • Name change is permitted until 60 minutes before scheduled time of departure at no charge.*
  • Cancellation is permitted until 60 minutes before scheduled time of departure. You can keep the value of your fare as credit to Travel Bank at no charge or refund to the original form of payment with a $44 fee per flight sector, per passenger. Note that if ticket has been upgraded from a non-refundable fare to Flex, the non-refundable component of the fare remains non-refundable.

  • Casual Lounge Access available at 50% discounted rate for up to 2 hours.
  • Get Me Home: option to transfer to an earlier flight on the same date of scheduled departure permitted at no charge (subject to seat availability).
  • Fare is forfeited if you fail to complete check-in before the flight has closed (30 minutes before scheduled departure at all airports excluding Burketown, which is 60 minutes) or fare is not used within one year of purchase.**
  • Waitlist permitted (full economy (Y) class only).

*  For bookings made before 5 June 2024 name change is permitted with payment of $55 fee per name change.
** For no-show fares issued before 16 August 2024, the fare value can be credited to Travel Bank ($44 fee) or refunded to the original form of payment ($99 fee). To request a no show credit or refund you must call the Customer Contact Centre on 13 17 13 (or your travel agent if applicable) within 48 hours of the scheduled time of departure of the no show sector. Credit must be used within one year of purchase.
Economy Anytime

  • Change of date and time permitted until midnight before the scheduled date of departure at no charge.
  • In the event that your flight rewards type (fare category) is not available for your changed flight, you will also be required to pay additional Rex Points to have access to the next available fare.
  • Cancellation permitted until midnight before the scheduled date of departure at no charge. Rex Points, Status Points and Status Flights are not accrued.
  • No changes permitted from midnight before the scheduled date of departure.
  • Name change or change of origin/destination are not permitted.
  • Casual Lounge Access available at 50% discounted rate for up to 2 hours.
  • Fare is forfeited if you fail to complete check-in before the flight has closed (30 minutes before scheduled departure at all airports excluding Burketown, which is 60 minutes) or is not used before the expiry date of the reward flight.
  • All flight reward point amounts are exclusive of carrier charges, taxes and applicable service fees, which must be paid separately at the time of booking with eligible forms of payment. Rex Points, Status Points and Status Flights are not earned on reward flights.

Note: Changes to fares are strictly governed by the Fare Rules stipulated at time of purchase.

  • "Fare Rules" means the rules governing the use of the Ticket according to the category of Ticket purchased. Fare Rules are subject to change. Tickets shall be subject to the Fare Rules as published at the time of purchase.
  • Admin fees are payable per passenger per flight sector.
  • Payment method surcharge applies for transactions via the website, the Customer Contact Centre or at the airport (cash transactions at the airport do not attract a payment method surcharge).
  • When making a flight change, additional payment applies where the same fare category is not available for the changed flight and the difference between the existing fare and the new fare is payable.
  • For tickets that have been upgraded from a non-refundable fare category to a refundable fare category, the value of the original fare remains non-refundable. Only the fare upgrade is refundable, less any applicable admin fee.
  • Nothing in these Fare Rules will affect consumer rights as defined in the Australian Consumer Law (ACL). Non-refundable clauses do not apply in circumstances where the consumer is entitled to a refund under the ACL.
