The Rex Lounge is a haven away from the noise and bustle of the terminal. Members can relax and unwind, or catch up on some work before their flight with free Wi-Fi. A private meeting room can also be arranged at for members the Melbourne Lounge (fee applies). Snacks, tea, coffee and soft drinks are available for members to enjoy throughout the day, together with beer and wine after 3pm.
Where is Rex Lounge located? The Rex Lounge is conveniently located at Gate G2 in Sydney Domestic Terminal 2, Gate 30 in Melbourne Terminal 4 and Gate 10 in Adelaide Terminal.
How much does membership cost and what do members receive? Rex Lounge annual membership costs $329 (inclusive of GST). Membership provides access to the Rex Lounges in Sydney, Adelaide and Melbourne on the day of members’ departure or arrival on Rex flights. One complimentary guest is also permitted per visit. How do I enter the Lounge? Membership: All members are given a four-digit Lounge Access Code and have their fingerprints enrolled in the fingerprint scanner. To gain access to the Lounge, you must key in your Lounge Access Code, place your enrolled finger on the scanner and the doors will open if verification is successful. Casual lounge access: Casual Lounge access may be purchased by customers holding Saver, Rex Flyer Ultimate or Getaway fare class for a fee of $33 (incl. GST). Customers travelling on a Flex fare or Rex Flyer Anytime Reward fares are entitled to a 50% discount off the casual access fee. Customers with Community Fare, Resident Fare or Promo Fare classes are unable to purchase Casual Lounge access. Casual Lounge access can only be purchased on weekdays between 9am and 2pm and during lounge opening hours on weekends. Casual Lounge Access can be purchased from check-in, the Lounge Attendant or at the gate. Entry is subject to space availability. Casual Lounge Access is for a 2 hour period. Can members take guests into Rex Lounge? Rex Lounge members can invite one complimentary guest into the Lounge, and for only $22 (incl. GST) a second guest can also experience the Rex hospitality. Rex Lounge members can invite a maximum of two (2) guests to join them in Rex Lounge. Guest passes cost $22 (incl. GST) per person valid for one visit and are available at the Rex check-in counter or departure gates. A Rex Lounge member must accompany guests and both must be travelling on Rex. Entry is subject to space availability.

DefinitionsIn these Terms and Conditions, unless the context otherwise requires:Application Form means the application form to become a Member of the Rex Lounge; Business Centre means an area or section located within the Rex Lounge dedicated to business purposes; Guest Passes means those passes purchased or issued to each Member for the admission of guests to lounges; Casual Access means the paid use of the lounge by a non Rex Lounge Member on a one time basis; Lounge Facilities and Services means any of the facilities, services and arrangements offered or available to the Member from time to time as a result of membership to the Rex Lounge;Lounge Attendant means the Rex employee present at and working in the Rex Lounge;
Lounge Access Code means the four-digit access code assigned to the Member by Rex for use with the fingerprint scanners at the Rex Lounge entrance;
Member means the person whose name is in the Rex Lounge membership records and who is a member of the Rex Lounge;Partner Service Provider means those suppliers with which Rex has an agreement for the supply of goods or services to members;Password means the alpha numeric characters which are chosen by the Member at the time of joining;Rex means Regional Express Holdings Limited ABN 18 099 547 270;Renewal Notice has the meaning ascribed to that term in clause 4.2;Rex Lounge Annual Membership Fee means the annual fee payable by the Member to Rex as set out in the Application Form or Renewal Notice.
