Rex COVID Refund Guarantee
All bookings on Rex’s network come with Rex’s unique COVID refund guarantee that offers a full refund of the fare or changes with no admin fee. This applies to any passenger whose trip has to be cancelled or changed due to COVID-related reasons, even if Rex’s flights operate as scheduled. Where travel insurance covers part of the loss, the COVID guarantee only covers the loss not covered by insurance.

HOW TO MAKE A REFUND
Click here to fill up the request for your refund. Please upload all supporting documentation to show that the disruption is due to a COVID-related reason. You will have to disclose if travel insurance is bought for the affected flight(s).

YOUR CONTRACT OF CARRIAGE
Rex COVID-19 refund guarantee applies in addition to your contract rights (Conditions of Carriage and Fare Rules). Where there is a contradiction between the two, Rex COVID-19 refund guarantee will take precedence. Your consumer rights under the ACL remain unaffected.

TRAVEL AGENT BOOKING
You are advised to contact your travel agent directly regarding your booking. Your travel agent will be entitled to the same COVID guarantee as if you booked directly with us but the travel agent needs to make the request to Rex.

TRAVEL INSURANCE
We recommend that passengers purchase travel insurance appropriate to their travel requirements to cover for any eventualities which may arise to ensure complete peace of mind. Where travel insurance has been taken for the flight, the details of the insurance need to be declared when making the claim under our COVID guarantee.
