Rex – Number 1 Airline for Reliability Wednesday, September 21, 2022 Rex remains Australia’s most reliable airline with official figures again confirming it had the best on-time performance and the lowest cancellation rate of any carrier last month. Analysis shows 82.2% of Rex flights departed on-time. All other airlines - including Qantas, Jetstar and Virgin - continued to struggle, recording dismal results. Only 56.9% of Jetstar flights departed on time while Qantas’ performance was not much better at 61.8%, followed by Virgin Australia at 69.7%.
