REX FIRST HALF FY18/19 PROFITS IMPROVED BY 8%

The Regional Express (Rex) Group today announced a statutory Profit After Tax (PAT) of $9.8 million (M) on a turnover of $163.8M for First Half Financial Year 2019 (1H FY19). This represents a 7.7% improvement in PAT and 8.5% improvement in revenue over the previous FY.

Following discussions held between the Chairman of Mildura Airport Pty Ltd (MAPL) Peter O’Donnell and the Regional Express (Rex) Board on 20 November 2018, Rex and MAPL are happy to announce that a new four-year partnership agreement has been reached. The partnership agreement will see the commitment by Rex to maintain its services to Melbourne, Adelaide and Broken Hill as well as the introduction of the Rex Community Fare scheme between Mildura and Adelaide.
