The Regional Express (Rex) Group of Airlines including Regional Express and Air Link are continuing to increase seating capacity and schedule frequency between Dubbo and Sydney.
Following on from additional Rex Saab services on Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays introduced on 27 March this year, Rex will operate additional return Saab 340 services each Tuesday and Wednesday commencing next week.
The additional Rex service will depart Sydney at 11.15am arriving in Dubbo at 12.20pm, and depart Dubbo at 12.40pm arriving in Sydney at 1.50pm.
“Rex and Air Link combined now provide eight return flights between Dubbo and Sydney each week day providing a high degree of choice and reliability. Three return flights operate Saturdays and five return flights Sundays. An additional flight from Sydney to Dubbo operates Friday evenings returning on Saturdays. Fares are common between both airlines and tickets may be exchanged for travel on either service”, Rex Managing Director, Geoff Breust said.
“The additional flights have been added as part of the Rex Group’s strategy to bring greater flexibility and choice for regional travellers and in response to continued strong support for our services.
The new schedule provides 2,800 Rex and Air Link seats per week between Dubbo and Sydney, an increase of five per cent.

The combined Rex and Air Link schedules, fares and services provide an exceptional level of customer travel convenience and affordability”.
Air Link and Rex operate from the same Gate 47 at Sydney Airport’s Terminal T2. Customers of both airlines can join the Rex Flyer program which provides the tenth flight free after nine flights flown and also join the Rex Lounge which is located at Gate 47 in Sydney. There is also a Rex Lounge in Adelaide.
