Monday, February 9, 2009

In view of the recent bushfires that have left hundreds homeless, Regional Express (Rex) will be setting aside a fund of $200,000 in the form of air fares and other means to aid those affected by the bushfires. Charity groups and other organisations that are involved in relief efforts can apply for airfare assistance on the Rex website at http://www.rex.com.au/Sponsorship/bushfire.aspx.

Rex will also be organising a collection on board all flights and all monies donated will be matched dollar for dollar from the fund.
